6 Month Goals

I am setting my 6 month goals now :)   So, I will be done with this goal in the end of December. These are GOALS,  I may not achieve them all, But, I will try my best to accomplish what I can!

  1. Pay off Master Debt list- which totals right now $10,901.00. Which would be paying $1816.00 per month. Which is highly unlikely I can do! But, I will do my best!
  2. Order a copy of my birth certificate (mine was stolen 2 yrs ago, when I had my purse stolen :(
  3. Join a Gym ( I want to lose 40 lbs)
  4. Obtain My Passport, which is something I have never done
  5. Finish my two college courses that I am regstered for in the fall

Goodbye Edfund!!!!

Today was a great mailday! I got notification from EDFUND (My educatonal loan company). In the letter it said the following:

DEAR *MRSFRUGALISTA* (Not really lol)

EdFund is happy to certify that your defaulted student loans listed below have been satisfied the requirements of the Loan Rehabilitation program as of the date of this letter. The following loans are no longer in default and all negative remarks made by EdFund will be deleted from your credit recordsd within 60 days of the date of rehabilitation.

Yipee!!! Its being transferred to another bank, and I still owe less than 1k. But, its out of default and I’m almost done with it and My credit will improve.

Its a great day!

Its a Post

I know, I know. Its been about 2 weeks since my last posting. I’ve been so busy and haven’t had time to post. I’m still here! I’m doing some tweaking to the site so bear with me. I need to do some updates to my stats as well…

Things of new…

  • Still job hunting, have been on some interviews but haven’t found the dream position as of yet
  • Sold one of our vehicles in order to buy a larger vehicle, which did bring on some debt, I know I know, not FRUGAL, however we have our reasons and it is defnitely worth the debt!
  • I’ll be posting more soon and doing a new video hopefully this evening

Twenty two. That is how many resumes I mailed today for my job search. I have been applying online. However, I want to get my resume out to places that may not be advertising actively. I hope that something comes of it. :)

I did hear back from a recruiter today for an almost perfect position. She should know something this week. I’ll post an update soon. Its super hard to find my position right now in this industry (mortgage) But, I’m hoping with my hard work  I can find the perfect position that is just what I am looking for!

Debt Payoff

A BIG Woo-Hoo! Definitely in order!!!

We have paid off over $7000 since last September!!!! That is 7 months, so roughly about $1000 a month! That is awesome!!!!

I look forward to get to 100% paid off! That is my goal for this year. I think that is hard to reach, though

Let the Job Search Begin

I’m official on my ***Aggresive*** job search! I know what I want and I know I will achieve it. I have found after my years of working that I know what to look for in a company and what will make me happy and content in my future job. It is exciting to be open to the new possbilities even when I am shutting the door on my last job. I feel very good that I made the right choice and I will take with me many experiences and a whole lot of knowlege in an industry that I knew very little about before I started.

I will keep you updated on my search and experiences :)
