Twenty two. That is how many resumes I mailed today for my job search. I have been applying online. However, I want to get my resume out to places that may not be advertising actively. I hope that something comes of it.
I did hear back from a recruiter today for an almost perfect position. She should know something this week. I’ll post an update soon. Its super hard to find my position right now in this industry (mortgage) But, I’m hoping with my hard work I can find the perfect position that is just what I am looking for!
A BIG Woo-Hoo! Definitely in order!!!
We have paid off over $7000 since last September!!!! That is 7 months, so roughly about $1000 a month! That is awesome!!!!
I look forward to get to 100% paid off! That is my goal for this year. I think that is hard to reach, though
I’m official on my ***Aggresive*** job search! I know what I want and I know I will achieve it. I have found after my years of working that I know what to look for in a company and what will make me happy and content in my future job. It is exciting to be open to the new possbilities even when I am shutting the door on my last job. I feel very good that I made the right choice and I will take with me many experiences and a whole lot of knowlege in an industry that I knew very little about before I started.
I will keep you updated on my search and experiences

I haven’t posted in a week!!!
Let me explain why!!! About 9 days ago, I went to the hospital because I kept having these dizzy spells. Lately I have been so exhausted as well. It turns out that I was dehydrated and had a very low blood pressure. So, they put fluids through an IV and i have a medication for my Vertigo (dizzyness). But, I think the dizzyness is because of the low blood pressure. I am better now, still having occasional dizzyness. However, I am drinking more water, so I hope that fixes the dizzyness in time.
Then, last weekend I had the kids. So, I was pretty busy with them. We went to Chuck E Cheese and then on Saturday we went to the movies. Bianca and I saw “The Last Song” with Miley Cyrus and the boys saw, Clash of the Titans with my husband. So, everyone had a nice evening. It wasn’t too frugal, though! lol I think we spent around $100 on the tickets and snacks! Thats okay though, everyone had fun and thats what matters!!!!
Another thing that is going on is my job. My regular job. Business hasn’t been too well as you may know, in the mortgage industry. So, my company is being merged with another company. My position is not going to be happening at my current office, but in the HQ in another state. So, basically my job doesn’t exist. However, I was offered another position, which I’ve done before and could do. However, I have decided to not go with the new company. There are many reasons. But the main one is money. In the new position other people make about $6 more per hour than what I would make, and I wouldn’t be full time. I feel like it would be degrading to my skills and abilities to take this other position. I am very good at my job and deserve to be with a company that recognizes that. I would rather leave than put my self down like that. I have belief that I will find a company that will pay me what I deserve and recognize my abilities. So there you go!
So, I am finishing up some “loose ends” at the old company, but I will be working more hours at my part time job, until I find the perfect job!
I know it make take some time, but I have faith I will find a good job that I will enjoy and my abilities will be put to good use.

I did my own gas log tracking for the month of march. Here are the results:
Number of times I got gas: 6 times
Total Amount of Gallons put in car: 54
Total Amount $ Spent: $143
Total Miles Driven: 1,192 (which is pretty accurate since I drive about 60 miles a day driving to work roundtrip)
Fun Tidbit:
At the beginning of the month gas was $2.56 per gallon and at the end of the month it was $2.77 a gallon.
It would be so nice to get a job closer to home so I could reduce my gas $$$ spending!
Time to update since its officially April!!!
To recap last Months standings:
Debt Payoff-25.1%
Emergency Fund-40.7%
Christmas Fund-47.5
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
April 1st, 2010 Standings:
Debt Payoff: 31.6%
Emergency Savings: 30.4% (went down about 10 % bc I had an emergency! Thats what its there for!)
Christmas 2010 Fund: 54%
My aspirations for this month of April:
To be at 37% for debt payoff
To be at 35% saved for Emergency Savings
To be at 60% for Christmas 2010
